Susan Venkersammy

Graphic Designer

If you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, being a graphic designer would be the farthest thing from my mind. I  wanted to be an accountant but my dad always says “you don’t pick your job, your job picks you” and he was right. My path as a graphic designer chose me. I love what I do and I couldn’t ask for a better career. I’m excited to see what life has in store for me.

A redesign of the Perfect Chemistry trilogy using custom illustrations to create a romantic theme. The 3 books are designed as a sequence from daytime to evening to night. It was created this way to represent the order of the books. Daytime blue sky is the first book, afternoon sunset colors for the second book, and last night time stars are used in the last book.

Learning Spectrum is a customizable app that focuses on keeping kids on the autism spectrum engaged. With bright colors and simple illustrations, it won’t overstimulate their brains. The design incorporates the puzzle piece autism symbol.
